Mel's Waffle House - Villas

Nice little place for breakfast or lunch. There are outdoor seating and a parking lot. Service was fast and efficient... Toast was even warm when served! All your basic breakfast and lunch offers at a moderate price. (Note that a dozen eggs on the market is about $2 depending on size and location) the potatoes have actually been seasoned. So many places brown sliced potatoes on the grid and call it done without spices, what so... These people have actually seasoned the potatoes. My wife had the breakfast crepe with fruit filling and really enjoyed it. The place is wheelchair-friendly, although I don't know if he would fit the rest rooms in the narrow hall.

This waffle house is a local favorite for breakfast on weekends and visitors to the area on Sundays after the church. If you do not like large quantities, avoid Sunday morning breakfast! Otherwise, eating is quite good-typical diner quality. Prices were a little above average, but I say they are LOWERED! Finally, the service is usually above average in speed, accuracy and hospitality. Overall, I recommend Mel's for breakfast, brunch or lunch when you are in the area!

All I had was great! The chocolate waffle was AMAZING!! Also the spinach and feta omelette was really great. You have a large selection and breakfast is the best. You have many diff things that many other places do not have, like the choc waffle and pumpkin waffle and filled French toast and such things. You have Diff fabric, but it's good Diff, not strange Diff lol

One of the best places I was in Cape May to get a breakfast. (I didn't eat here, but I imagine it's so good) the staff is pleasant and welcoming and food comes quickly. Good filling and great coffee!

Great breakfast with quality service. Family owned and operated, and they were extremely pleasant to dine with. Plus, our niece enjoyed the crayons and coloring book they gave her!
