Praia De Agua D'alto

Had a lovely dinner last night. When we first arrived there were no outdoor tables available but the waiter very quickly moved a 2 top table that was connected to another couple's table that they weren't using for us to use. So kind! We were happy to see 3 vegetarian options on the menu! We ordered the veggie burger with fries and the spinach croquettes with salad and rice both of which were delicious. The beach view was great too. TotaL bill with a soda and a beer was under 20 euros! Would have been double that in the states. Will be eating here again!

I hate to give Bar Praia such a negative review but my experience here was not a good one. The biggest issue was the food. We were a group of 4 and each ordered a different entree. Having tried every ones dish and the 2 starters, there was not one thing I found enjoyable. We started with a meat and cheese plate and fried prawns. The cheese came out at room temperature. It was basically melting on the plate. The prawns were oily and their shells impossible to remove. Entrees were all underwhelming. Fried tuna, over cooked risotto, black ink pasta and fish cooked in a Mediterranean sauce. None felt local to the community. Seemed like they were trying to please tourist. Maybe we came on a bad night. The restaurant did over look a beautiful beach and the space was comfortable and modern. Hopefully its better.

A solid food option outside of the city, especially for a beach day. They have pretty good hours, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have English menus available as well. Dishes vary from local cuisines to chicken wings and chicken nuggets, so there's enough to choose for everyone. The view here is what truly sells the experience. Endless water and a strip of beach are all yours to enjoy while you dine here. When we went, most nights you could enjoy the seabreeze from the patio or from the open-window dining room. We happened to be staying very close to the restaurant during our visit and it ended up being a constant refuel/relax stop throughout our trip. Definitely check this place out , even if it is for a late night coffee date.

Great little beach restaurant! I was pleasantly surprised with tasty food and good service. I had the steak and my partner had the kebabs, both were tasty. For a beach front low key casual restaurant I would say give it a try. They both indoor and outdoor seating. The view is perfect!

Excellent viewpoint, magic lookout on the ocean. Added with cool drinks and delicious food. We, party of two, enjoyed red Sangria , burger, fries. shrimps and cesars salad. Everything tasted really nice and we found an absolute perfect price quality relation. We will come back again for sure. either as a result of the very friendly staff members good job, boys!
