The Chopping Block Meat Market

The best rib eye steak I have ever eaten. Restaurants do not get close to the delicious flavor. One steak four meals for me on my Carnivore diet.

I was actually trying to get to a different market but hit bad traffic getting out of Houston. What an advantageous fix to what was looking like a ruined trip! Everything was good, and I got a serious mix. Breakfast sausage reminded me of fresh ground pork at small local butchers in Germany. It doesn't even cook the same as store bought because of the grind. Should have bought 5lbs. Denver cut steaks aren't the most common and they had multiple grades including wagyu with some excellent marbling and DEEP flavor. Girlfriend said the filet was one of the best she's had. That's it in the video with a little foie gras. Real cured (not super wet) bacon. A beautiful half chicken. Some great Italian sausage. Duck fat spray... Will be back with a cooler and game plan. The selection and quality were slightly overwhelming.

Spent a lot of money and bought a prime rib for thanksgiving. The meat quality was terrible. Gristle lines running though the middle of the meat.

The Chopping Block has really good meat choices. There are no butchers in Victoria, so it’s nice that this one opened up! It’s also nice that they are Christian people. It has a fresh section and frozen section. Steaks, sausages, ribs, etc… Mu bueno!
