Uptown Bistro - Victoria

The food was amazing. We had the steak and mushroom pie and sheppards pie. If we lived here, we would definitely be back.

The service here was exceptional. The food was mediocre. I got breakfast and the toast was cold, not even warm enough to melt the butter. There was an issue with one of the other dishes we got and the waitress was very attentive and took it back for us and removed from our bill. I would come back again to try something else.

This nondescript restaurant looks like a house but it is a charming and very clean restaurant. It has hoyne beer on tap and is reasonably priced.My partner and I both had burgers. She, the cheese burger and I the bison burger with yam fries. Both burgers are a couple of the best pub burgers we’ve both had in Victoria. The yam fries were the absolute best.Apparently the fish and chips are excellent and we will be back to give them a try!
