Chikara Sushi - Victoria

Omg i love this place . You can realy feel the traditional feeling when eating the authentic sushi . I just love it the rice so tasty with vinegar , fish are soooo goood ......

Good food and affordable price. All the rolls me and my boyfriend tasted were so good especially the Sakura! Loved the baked oysters and the halibut tempera!! Cute place with excellent service, we were seated and food was served all within 15 minutes! At the end we were surprised to have such quality food with the low price it comes. Definitely coming back!!

Love the place, fish is great quality, rolls great! They will custom make them if you wish but selection on menu is wonderful. The owners are wonderful and friendly : I moved away but it 's a must do 'visit ' each time I come home.

My usual spot. I have been going to Chikara for years, it may not be the best Japanese ever but it's never busy, there is parking right outside, you get your own booth and the food is always good. I love their bento box options for dinner and the price is pretty good for the amount of food you get. They do you a sesame sauce for the rice but it's not quite the same as JV's steak sauce I'd probably skip it .

Great Takeout Experience!. My friend and I had a date for movies and sushi the other night and I suggested we try Chikara, and we were not disappointed. The ninja roll (tempura tuna) was the highlight of the meal, agedashi tofu was perfect and hot despite sitting in the car for 1/2 an hour, and we were happy to be able to get rice with sesame sauce. Not a cheap meal, but a pretty perfect takeout experience.
