Bidrage med feedbackI made an online order for pickup tonight and I am very unhappy with my order. I asked no mushrooms and my meal came with mushrooms. I chose my order to come with noodles and I also added rice. The meal only came with rice and no noodles. I added extra meat, and I don't think I got it because the part I received was very small.
We used to visit Edo once or twice a month but hadn't been for a few months. On this visit, we ordered 4 pieces of California Roll, thinking it was only 50 cents per piece as advertised for Sushi Sunday. However, we were charged $3.95. When we brought this to the staff's attention, we were told we needed to order 8 pieces for $4.00 to get the special. It would have been nice if this was mentioned when we placed our order. The staff member seemed unapologetic and unhelpful, even after we suggested just adding the extra 4 pieces to our order. This lack of customer service was disappointing, and we will not be returning to Edo. It's important to treat your regular customers well and provide clear information on deals and specials.
The title says it all. The staff is extremely friendly and I will definitely return as soon as possible.
Now I've been coming to this Edo for many years now and its been fairly consistent, it seems that the food is always very good and fairly fresh but one problem with this restaurant is the staff, I mean sometimes the service is really bad...because it seems that all they want is a pay cheque and that makes the experience a little less enjoyable, anyways all in all this is a good place to have lunch or supper!
I visited the restaurant on December 14th with an empty stomach and ordered the Futari plate to take away. Unfortunately, the sushi rice was the worst I have ever tasted. I am not sure if it was prepared incorrectly, but it was inedible. I have had great experiences with Edo in other locations, but this particular restaurant was a huge letdown. I will not be returning.
