City Works (mellody Farm — Vernon Hills)

Enjoyed a wonderful Sunday brunch at City Work, Nina N. Provided excellent service.

Food is always great but Armida our server was great!! She was very helpful and had excellent customer service!! Everytime we come here we always request a table in her section. Aside from the food and environment we come back for the excellent service.

Dropped in there on Sunday for a quick bite. The service was horrible. If you're not drinking you get ignored. Empty coffee and water glasses. Sat waiting for server to come back and when we declined dessert the check was tossed on the table with not so much as a thank you or have a nice day. Will not be returning.

My first time here and I really enjoyed the food and great service, Adriana the manager very friendly and attentive! Love all the beer selection and decor of the restaurant.

Do not go for brunch- we were the first table and our food came out cold, and I had asked them to remake my dish because the fried eggs were cold and I was skeptical… still came back with another cold dish which I ate because I was hungry (but then regretted it that evening… my brother was also sick (also got cold eggs . The server seemed more annoyed then helpful when we said we weren’t happy. My friend said don’t go here and honestly we should have listened.
