Bidrage med feedbackSpent $70 at the bar on a meal 3 beer. Excused myself to go to the washroom for 2minutes, and returned to my seat to find they threw away my meal, a $10 beer as well as my paid for receipt. PS: If you try to contact them, they will only talk to you based on their 'secret code ' on the paid receipt that THEY THREW AWAY!!! Completely Unacceptable! This is a High Priced fast food joint that serves beer.
The chicken wings weren't crispy enough. As well, for me at least, the 9-1-1 sauce wasn't that spicy for its name. It tasted like they added tabasco sauce or something mild and named it as if were a habanero type sauce. Then me and my cousin and I ordered some rum and coke, mostly tasted coke in it. plus, I had ordered whiskey and coke, which tasted the same as the rum and coke. On top of that, we were waiting about 10 minutes only to be moved to another table, but we got a free shot from our waiter when he found out we were inuit. But that still doesn't get my eski approval for the not so okay food and drinks.
I ordered delivery and not only did my dessert not come with ice cream as advertised, the beers I ordered were room temperature. Now I can’t have a beer with my meal because I have to wait for it to cool down in the fridge. I was charged full price for the dessert. Very disappointing.
Not sure what happened; definitely not the same franchise that served my group 3 years ago. There were 4 adults and one child in our party, last night. Where, oh where, to begin! We arrived early the other two adults and child had yet to arrive; restaurant was, virtually, deserted. We were left waiting to be seated for over 15 minutes; a waitress 's boyfriend and his buddy were seated immediately. The hostess seemed confused, overwhelmed when she was present. Next to the front foyer, where clients were required to wait, while the hostess tried to recall what she was hired to do, there was a poor choice of a free popcorn machine. Butter flavored oil stench was everywhere as was the popcorn all over the floor. We were finally seated, next to a 50th birthday party. There was plenty of room everywhere else but we shrugged it off and sat down. It was Saturday night and we were looking forward to spending time with our dinner companions. Let 's skip to the chase; the food. It was horrid. I started with onion rings. The coating was gummy and the onions were slimy. For my entrée, I ordered fish and chips;I have no idea what kind of filet it was, the treatment was so ham handed. The thinner ends were beyond overdone while the center, well it was hot but that 's the most redeeming quality of the thing. It tasted like cooking oil as did my fries which were limp and so bad, I left 3/4 of them on the plate. The dipping sauce for the fries rumoured to be chipotle mayonnaise was chipotle in name only. My companion had a pulled pork and beef Cuban sandwich. A new Cuban crisis could be initiated with this dish . The only real taste was the grease and absolutely no connection to Cuba outside of the stealing of the name. I ordered a strawberry daiquiri I 'm not a drinker so this my treat to myself. I actually had 3. You would think that a non drinker having had 3 daiquiris would have felt something a little cheer, perhaps; there was nothing. Draw your own conclusions. The carpeting was disgusting and it was a good thing I didn 't look down before we were seated because I think we would have left. There was food, popcorn, french fries and all manner of gunk under our feet. There is no way that the state of the carpeting was as a result of the hour or so we had spent there. This was a collection that exceeded anything we could have created. Vaudreuil is growing by leaps and bounds; avoid this place go anywhere else. MacDonalds would have been preferable; we paid over $100 for subpar everything except the actual table service our waitress was charming, polite and attentive. Unfortunately, she is not enough to allow me to recommend this place. Not all franchises are created equal.
I have visited La Cage around 7 times in 4 different cities in the Quebec region, and this particular location is the best one yet. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially on a busy night when the HABS were playing the Leafs. There was a giant screen set up for the game, and the endless popcorn provided was fresh and delicious. I started with a fantastic Caesar salad and followed it with the monster Nachos. For my main course, I had the Buffalo Chicken Burger, which was delicious. The online booking system can be a bit tricky, as sometimes it may show that you are on a waiting list, so make sure your reservation is confirmed.
