UPDATE I must revise the 5 star rating previously given, because on our last visit, the hollandaise sauce served with the eggs benedict was bland, tasteless, and tasted extremely like flour. After mentioning it to the waiter, no apologies, plus he told me for the first time I've heard that.... I felt like telling him, well, taste it if you want!!! It's the first time this has happened to me too....there's a first time for everything, right? No compensation was offered. Considering the skyrocketing cost of dishes, I would have expected better service. I have been from Varennes since my youth, I love supporting local, and yet, I will never return to this place again just because of the lack of consideration towards the customers.In my opinion it is THE lunch restaurant in Varennes. It has nothing to envy of the big brands and the prices remain reasonable.
