Prohibition Brewing - Vancouver

Quaint brewery with six varieties brewed on site. One of these fine brews should suite your taste. As an amateur brewer I found the beers great, the service good and the food on offer ofa high standard. Don't miss this one if you are a beer lover.

This is a cozy spot south of Davie. The beer is great and the snacks are innovative. The house made chips are outstanding, as is the poutine. Loved the wedge salad too. The kitchen does great things with salami. The service was good too, and when we asked if they could turn down the music they did so without thinking we were "old".

The patio was empty when we arrived around 4PM but jammed inside and out when we left a couple of hours later. Outstanding beer - try the taster selection if you're not sure - and a fascinating menu. Duck wings? Worthy fare but I couldn't keep my fork out of my mother-in-laws poutine - the best! My wife raved over the chicken and those who had the steak kept offering bites. The piano stool seating kept me alert but the charm of a Yaletown eatery adds to the neighbourhood and the adventure of a weekend in the big smoke.

I frequent this restaurant often after coming back from day trips or camping at Cat Lake.

The food was fantastic and there was an impressive variety of beers available to choose from. The service was good overall, but there was a slight hiccup at the end when they accidentally dropped the bill and didn't follow up with us.
