India's Flavour - Vancouver

We were on our way to a movie and decided to grab a quick bite. The Indian cuisine at this restaurant was delicious. The butter chicken was tasty and the curry lentils were also good. We got to choose 3 items along with rice and a drink for just over $10. The service was quick and the food was great!

We were headed to a movie and decided to grab a quick meal. The Indian food we tried was delicious, with the butter chicken and curry lentils being particularly good. The meal consisted of three choices, rice, and a drink for just over $10. It was a fast and satisfying experience!

The meat curry- if it could be called that, was Italian meatballs in a rather dismal red curry sauce. I even had to ask the fellow behind the counter for more meatballs as he'd only put onto my plate! Very cost cutting, it seems...and cost cutting ALWAYS starts with quality. The pulao rice was tasteless and the Naan bread wasn't evenly thoroughly cooked!!! It tasted underdone. The food in the serving trays hadn't been stirred or touched for a while as the pieces of meat/vegetable had a scum' on top- like they'd been sitting there for days Definitely will NOT be going back to these folks as I've given them more than three chances and every time they struck out. Note- I even felt ill several hours after eating this crud so buyer beware

Alright option in Tinsel town to grab a quick bite before a movie. Items are premade and in warming bins and we decided to try a item combo with rice and naan. I tried the lamb curry and spinach paneer. The food was fine,...for fast food. The naan was particularly good.
