Mad props to homie shucking my oysters....thanks for not judging me in my moment of gorging. Overall atmosphere was laid back and the oysters were off the hook. 10/10 would recommend and quite honestly contemplating flying back to Van to visit again right meow...

While visiting from the United States, my partner and I discovered Chewies on Yelp. This restaurant is a must-visit if you are in the area!! We ordered the Southern Fried Chicken and Jambalaya, and both dishes were absolutely delicious!! I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I highly suggest trying the fried chicken or the jambalaya at this restaurant... absolutely delicious!!!!

Top notch service. The food was excellent. My new go to spot for chicken and waffles.
