Jed’s - Valley View

Uhhh...I want to write a positive review but man...Jed's...you're making it hard! The location is good and I like the interior. We sat outside because it was a nice day and Covid. The bartender was also the waitress and was also the hostess, so poor girl was running ragged. She did fine though, no complaints about her other than I felt bad. What I can complain about is the food. First, they had no burgers. Since half the menu was burgers, that's a bit disappointing. Then they had no philly cheesesteak and they had limited appetizers. The menu was pretty short to begin with so we had very limited options in general, especially since my husband pretty much doesn't eat chicken. I went with my parents who are from Toledo and are Jed's frequenters. They ordered the mushroom ball chicken and they were disappointed because in Toledo they're smothered with cheese and super juicy chicken bites. My mom guessed these had been frozen a while because they tasted dry. My daughter's mac and cheese seemed like it was from the bottom of the casserole none of the mac and cheese noodles looked like noodles, they very much looked like leftovers (you know, when the noodles are all broken up). So in short, it was just a lackluster and disappointing experience. I hope they can stick around a little longer but the fact that they had such a limited menu makes me wonder if they've given up?

Great atmosphere, good food with a lot of options, great Happy Hour prices, but best of all great service. Carlton our server was spot on... friendly, fast and accommodating.

Excellent, i had the mac n cheese balls. You can have lightly breaded or grilled chicken (white meat) with pulled pork in top and mac n cheese on top of that. Sauce can be tossed with it or on the side. 5 choices if sauce. I liked the Mary Jane. Burgers had seasoning and fries were good. Service was very good by Sheila. It was not very busy. This place i belive had a bad start, they are hiring. But looks like they are on their way, but need more business. Inexpensive too.

Doesn't answer their phone half the time. My job has spend over 200$ here already but I bet we would have spent more if they'd answer their phones. Jedds loss I guess. Not ours, we have plenty of other places to go to being the area we are in. Update: Still doesn't answer the phone 2 weeks later.

We'd never heard of Jeds but I'm so glad we stumbled upon it!! Everything was very clean and well spaced out. The service was great. They seemed to be understaffed on Saturday but the waitress was amazing. She was running her butt off and did an amazing job. We felt very taken care of and didn't wait long for anything. The wings were delicious and very big and crispy. The beer list was impressive with local brews. I hope they survive covid, we will absolutely be back.
