Bidrage med feedbackFantastic option w homemade tortillas, black beans and typical poc-chuc a marinated pork or huh with all homemade sauces definitiw the hold worth when they leave valladolid in direction chichen.
We have visited this restaurant by chance on the way back from chitchen itza, and I am so glad that we have made it! we were insecure when we came in, as the other customers were all Mexican and it looked a little fundamental. It...was a menu board on the wall that we didn't really understand and don't pay any prizes. the owner came by and asked us what we wanted, and then explained what the poc chuc was. we could have chickens, pigs or bark. what came was a beautiful creamy bowl of suppe, friijoles I think some amazing tortillas, and the really delicious grilled chicken breast and pork. the employees were all patient with our lack of understanding or spanish! the possible bill was 440 pesos for one of the best meals we had on our trip. when we were gone, the restaurant was almost full of native, another table of foreigners.
Great place to meet the local kitchen. it is grilled woth wood instead of charcoal. large seasoned and prices at a very simple location.
