Lucky House Restaurant - Valemount

We were warned that restaurants in valemount were really expensive and busy. for all pipeline workers. but this seemed favorable. it wasn't very crowded, but apparently they were busy with call orders. our server was efficient and helpful....and eating came very fast....We had hunch with black bean sauce and it was an excellent soak with much and much sweet. the special fried rice was even better with this 'smoky' taste we like. huge portions too. there were some authentic Chinese dishes on the menu that also looked wonderful. they seem specialized in salty spicy cuisine. it is not air conditioned, but they had a few fans. if we are ever back in valemount, we will come back

Not many restaurants in this city. remained overnight and coveted Chinese food. order a few barley dishes. was strange that the nudels were pasta. the food was decent.

We really enjoyed this restaurant, the service was great and very fast. we ordered two specials that came very hot and we are extremely tasty. that comes from two people who are on the go in the whole China. I recommend this restaurant for family friends etc. Awesome...food we still think about it.

Horrible food. I guess I'm spoiled being from vancouver. I know what real chinese food tastes like. I ordered the chicken balls and prawns with chow main combo. I ate the chicken balls and took apart the breaded shrimp. The portions are large but tasteless....Waitress had two visibly soiled gloves. One blue and white. The chairs are cloth and very soiled. The bathroom was clean though. No mask worn by restaurant staff. I will not be eating here again.

The food tasted not so special for vegetarian ones. There were not so many choices, btw. but we had a good diner. The service was oke though the staff didn't speak english very well. It's located along the hwy 5
