An absolutely stunning meal. The sashimi/nigiri selection was extensive and every piece was delicious. The self cooked waygu on a salt block was stole the show for me as such a fun and interactive dining experience. The entire staff was knowledgeable and welcoming and ensured we had a great evening. I was expecting much better tasting food with richer flavors. I'm guessing it's just the Vail location due to employee issues. I was surprised when Elon Musk mentioned the LA location as one of his favorite Sushi places. My personal favorite is Zuma in Las Vegas. The flavors and service I experienced at Zuma I assumed would be similar to Matsuhisa but it wasn't. (Ski town vs Big city I guess. It wasn't bad tho, but I feel like they can easily compete with Zuma with a little more effort and flavor. I guess my main complaint is the lack of FLAVOR. I ordered 6 different dishes across the menu and couldn't say I would ever eat there again. Maybe Zuma spoiled me idk, but if your a sushi connoisseur don't get your hopes up. It's good but not special. Cheers
