Zao Modern Asian Cafe - Utah

I’m a huge, longtime Zao fan. Never been disappointed here, until tonight. Me and my wife stopped by, grabbed a couple wraps, and brought them home. Not only did they make my burrito much smaller than normal, the rice was so severely undercooked we had to keep spitting bites out because it was literally hurting our teeth to eat. Best part is that I spent $12 to spit my undercooked, skimpy wrap into the trash. Only reason I have a couple stars were for the nice employees. Don’t bother and just go … – show

The food was fresh and delicious. First time trying it but will for sure be back.

We love the brown rice, chicken, teriyaki sauce and all the add ons. Super yummy food! You can't go wrong with any of their bowls and ad ons.

They would be 5 stars except that they are sooooo stingy with their ingredients. We've watched them backup to take ONE noodle out of the yakisoba because apparently it was that important to give just a little less to the customer who is paying extra for those noodles. I've also watched them make a tiny burrito for a delivery order. The customer didn't want all the ingredients so instead of giving more of the requested ingredients, Zao just sent home a tiny little burrito the person payed full pr … – show

Clean food that tastes so good. Big fan of the yellow curry sauce on the bowls!
