Messob - Uppsala

Best Ethiopian food outside of Ethiopia! The food was so flavorful and fresh. Lovely patio with attentive service! Thanks for a magical evening.

A friend and I went to “Messob”. We had a great time. Ethiopian cuisine is truly delicious and cheers. they made us feel at home and were very prepared in explaining their typical dishes. Very nice the owner who regularly asks as a true professional if we liked his dish. Wonderful evening, we hope to be back soon. Recommended!!

Delicious, great and includes a friendly atmosphere. The menue is a bit hard to read, but the staff is incredibly friendly and can explain if needed. The restaurant suits all visitors, be it couples, friends, families or a company dinner (as long as you can eat with your hands in front of your coworkers).

The place is really cozy for a dinner. The food was really good (we had the vegetarian platter to share). They have a good selection of beers from various African countries. I really recommend it!

We visited the Messob for a dinner. It was our first time to try Ethiopian cuisine which is becoming pretty trendy. It is a bit difficult to know what to order , but the staff members here are super friendly and are very happy to recommend whatever they think will suit your particular taste. Basically ideal is to take two meat and two vegetarian dishes which are served on a traditional pancake. The meat was spicy and yummy as well as the vegetarian dishes recommended by our waiter, the wine was good too. I really became a fan of this restaurant and the Ethiopian cuisine.
