Unfortunately we had a very bad experience with the staff when ordering pizza and pasta. When my wife is pregnant, I asked politely what vegetables could be added to spaghetti. She said yes, I'm going to add vegetables! I wanted to know which vegetables are available so that I could get their attention and she told me to leave them alone as she was too busy to deal with me. I tried to get her attention back after I noticed she was done with another client and she told me I was in her way and that she had enough of me! They did not seem like English customers / speak English, although they had an English menu as they said: "I don't understand you are too confusing for me, I had enough". She then instructed me to ask customers to eat their meal to translate for me what I found very embarrassing and imposing to try to disturb people! A nice lady who sits nearby translates to the employee who then began to raise her hands, watch loud and shake her head, etc. as if I was extremely inappropriate. I still have a loss to understand what just happened on Earth. She was obviously able to say all these things in English, but no question about vegetables. The employee seemed to be alone at a busy time, so that she might be so liquid, but you would hope for at least a low level of human condition independently. For example, to wait a minute? Would that be so hard? It is a real shame that I treated so strangely and humiliated in front of a room of customers, as the food was really good! Very strange.

Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience with the staff when ordering a take away pizza and pasta. As my wife is pregnant, I asked politely what vegetables could be added in to the spaghetti. She said Yes, I'll add vegetables and ran away. I...wanted to know which vegetables were available so I managed to get her attention again and she told me to leave her alone as she was too busy to deal with me I tried to get her attention again after I noticed she had finished dealing with another customer and she told me that I'm in her way and that she'd had enough of me! They did not seem to like English customers/ speaking English despite having an English menu as she stated “I don’t understand, you’re too confusing for me, I’ve had enough”. She then instructed me to ask customers sitting eating their meal to translate for me which I found very embarrassing and imposing to disturb people trying to eat! A nice lady sitting near by translated to the member of staff, who then started throwing her hands up, sighing loudly and shaking her head etc as though I was being extremely unreasonable. I’m still at a loss to understand what on Earth just happened. She was obviously able to say all of these things in English but not answer a question about vegetables. The member of staff appeared to be on her own at a busy time so that may be why she was so flustered, however you would hope for at least a low level of human decency regardless. For example, asking me to wait a minute? Would that be so hard? It’s a real shame that I was treated so oddly and humiliated in front of a room of customers, as the food was genuinely really good! Very strange.
My son and I ate lunch here as it is only a couple minutes walk from Hotel Demas Garni. We were offered English menus and our waiter was very polite and friendly. Our pizzas were served quickly, were very good and the prices were reasonable.
