Dongpo Kitchen - Universal City

This is an amazing traditional Chinese Restaurant. I love their sweet and sour fish and duck slider. The stuff were attentive and lovely. I am little bit surprised by the bad reviews. If you ever go to the Universal Studios, definitely give a try. I’ll check their LA and Irvine location.

Mild Mushroom dandan noodles, veggie spring rolls, red bean buns, chicken dumplings were Amazing . 10/10 will come back if I'm in the are. We appreciate the vegan options. Food came out very fast and very hot. Server was friendly and courteous.

This was a place we stopped at while we were on the outside of universal studios at the walk, everything was booked out, but we were able to score a table here and were seated in minutes. We ordered chicken fried rice and Mongolian Beef, both meals were fantastic, the beef was sweet, spicy and had a fantastic flavour its a 9.5 out of 10 for this one from Don&ShonaEats. It's a Don&ShonaEats recommended place to try. This place hosts a wide array of delicious food and an incredibly attentive staff. Don’t be disguised by the low review rating. I almost didn’t eat here when I saw the review score. The egg rolls were delectable and the dumplings perfect. Oh, and the honey iced green tea was superb! I can’t hype this place up any more but it is truly a gem at City Walk.

We came in without a reservation after visiting Universal Studios. We were seated immediately by a very friendly face who gave us a choice between a table and a booth. Clean, bright restaurant with modern decor. Bright descriptive menus with photos, price and portion size. We ordered Sapporo, fried chicken wings, fried prawns, shrimp fried rice and green beans, all delicious with the rice being the favorite! Our food arrived quickly, chicken still sizzling! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely return with friends and family.
