Bidrage med feedbackWow, wow, wow!! I've been in WA for two years and I've been looking for the best Thai life and I found it! From their fresh spring rolls, Panang, Pad Thai and Fried rice everything was delicious! The service was fantastic! This place is an attempt!
Picked this place randomly for lunch takeout. Food is of an average taste, portions are big. Overall I think it should cost less for this level of quality. Fresh rolls are good, but added shrimp look weird. Pad Thai is ok, with a bit of ketchup taste. Panang curry was over spiced, curry pasta and tofu were of average quality. It feels like pasta and tofu all were pre cooked separately and then mixed, I wish they added more flavours to tofu. Side rice was super blend, only after mixed with curry it more or less eatable. Chicken satay was ok dry, and no sides, literally it's just meat on the stick and nothing else. I met a lot of places in that area with better quality/ price for Thai food.
I cannot rate this restaurant highly enough! They have the nicest, most polite, most respectful staff I have ever encountered! And the food itself is always phenomenal. If I had any critique at all, it would be that their spice ratings can be a little off, so err on the side of caution if you?re sensitive. But despite that, all of their food tastes amazing and is plated beautifully. The restaurant is clean and neat and very comfortable. One of my favorite Thai restaurants period.
My experience can be summarized by a word disappointment. Here are 3 reasons to support the review. 1) I ordered the pad Thai with chicken, which was warm but mostly bland in taste and did not contain much chicken compared to the same dish in other local establishments. 2) the cost of Pad Thai was $16 (before fees/taxes), the more than other local restaurants fee (e.g. Siam Kitchen $12.35). 3) Employees who are not qualified and unfit for the customer service position or at least one of them. The young man who asked me for the food didn't carry anything to identify himself as an employee, and when he asked why I was charged for a bag when I got no bag, he tried to argue with me and implied that I was a liar that they didn't charge me for it. I went on to explain that I saw the charge for the bag when I ordered my food online in the breakdown of the bill (and still charged me the same amount), but he didn't let me finish, and with an annoyed, intelligent aleck attitude, he took the 8 cents out of the bill, gave me the entrance and went away. Your guys get a star that food is at a good temperature, and ready fast, but my recommendations for more success with your company is to try other competitors' lower prices, work on developing a delicious taste for your pad Thai, and train your employees in customer service basics and maybe they have a uniform to wear them to recognize them and also to give them a sense that it offers part of a local business that provides a service for community money.
Very disappointed! I don't know who mentioned big parts, but for all who take it off, you just know that you will pay a lot of money for very little. I spent almost $20 for her Panang Curry and what I got was smaller than a bowl of soup. (See photo! I usually go to Thai on Main in Monroe because not only they have amazing curry, but their portions are slightly twice as big as this place for less. Unfortunately, I had to hurry home this day and thought I would try a new place on my way home to see their quality. When I brought it home, I felt torn. For the same price you could have Carne Asada with rice, beans, chips and salsa or a big burger and fries on the street and be much more satisfied. But I am. Good luck!
