Bidrage med feedbackMy family has frequented this awesome establishment twice now, and it simply serves the best burgers around. I just love the atmosphere of this place ... A little burger joint/pub food masterclass attached to a relaxed Sydney pub where you can enjoy a quiet meal with the family, or a catch-up with a mate for a burger and a beer. 5 stars!
We had the OG burger and without being exceptional it was simple but tasty. Cooked medium in a good bun and not overcrowded with filling, just enough to add to the the beautiful patty. There overall ambience is relaxed and the pub adjacent offers a variety of beers to compliment the meal. Our Argentinian waitress was very attentive and friendly, service was prompt and deliver to the table quick. A very enjoyable evening.
This place serves really good burgers. Went there for the first time and one of us got an OG and the other a cheeseburger. The cheeseburger was absolutely excellent. The OG was very good also but not as good as the CB. The reason for only 4 stars are the fries which were just standard and nothing special, not worth 5 stars. Would definitely go back for the burgers though!
Got taken to this establishment from some friends in Sydney after boasting about my Adelaide burger expertise. Little did I know I was about to embark on a journey full of crispy crunchy cheesy delights. Beef burger was a solid 8/10 but the real hero here was the T.L.C burger which just knocked me out of the park. I asked for mine with bacon which just gave it that smokiness. A winner in my books 10/10!
What a find! The staff were very friendly, the kitchen was clean, the decor suited the "traditional pub" environment, and the food was tasty. The place had the "buzz" of a local pub. I selected the chicken burger and chips which was priced similar to many other pub venues. (Be warned the menu has limited options). It seems the Pub Life Kitchen has found a new permanent "home" in a part of the Lord Wolseley Hotel which is in a historic section of Ultimo with its terrace housing and narrow streets. Meal can be delivered to other sections of the hotel and drinks can be purchased at the bar and then taken into the dining area. The bar area has a range of horse racing memorabilia. This restaurant was recommended by our Airbnb hosts and did not disappoint. The venue could be described as "intimate" in size. The restaurant owners do not own or operate the hotel. The restaurant and hotel is a brief walk from the Wentworth Park Tram Stop and provides an opportunity to take in an older part of Sydney.
