Sakura Sushi - Ulaanbaatar

There are two Sakura restaurants at Kempinski. I've been to SAKURA TEPPANYAKI RESTAURANT, and it's amazing! You have all food prepared just in from of you by Chief and his team. I had a set with beef and it's just great. Meet is super tender, sides are tasty. Chief is very interactive and entertaining. This is definetely a place to go!

Great restaurant. Good services and best foods. More important food is wagyu steak. I recommend you try wagyu Japanese premium beef.

Very nice cozy place, open bar and VIP cabins are available. delicious sushi and makkirolls. Must visit in this restaurant.

I hear that they just opened just over a year. It’s located on the 2nd floor of Kempinski Hotel. Ulaanbaatar isn’t well-known for Japanese cuisine but this place is worth a visit. I dined here recently. Ordered a mixed beef and seafood grill set and the presentation and overall quality of the food was really good, right down to the type of dipping shoyu they use. Nothing was over cooked. Portions were just right. The set meal I ordered plus beverages costs around $65 for two. For the quality, that’s a pretty good deal. Highly recommended.
