This is one of the last American-owned and operated stores left in the country. This place takes you back in time with its classy nostalgic southern hospitality! If there is an item that a customer wants and the millpond doesn't carry it, then Faye is always ready to order it for you! She always tries to carry unique and one-of-a-kind items that are not found anywhere else. She caters to each customer individually from remembering what they order for breakfast and having it ready for them or pumping fuel for little old ladies. Every Christmas she always has neat gift ideas for everyone. Every spring she has the most beautiful plants, hanging baskets, herbs, and vegetables for Easter and Mothers Day. During hunting season she carries corn for the hunters. She always supports local farmers by purchasing her peanuts from them to boil and sale. She also goes out of her way to support local artisans by purchasing their crafts and selling them at her store. If you're feeling down be sure to stop in, she'll always make you smile with her radiant personality!! If you haven't experienced the Millpond Trading Post then you're definitely missing out on an awesome place. Be sure to stop in and feel right at home!! What a wonderful place to do business with!!!!

Great friendly service from some AWESOME ppl GREAT food.
We visited this restaurant with a small group of friends on motorcycles and Ms. Juni was extremely courteous! We sat outside at a large table in lovely weather and the food was fantastic. We highly recommend this place for delicious home-cooked meals!
