Amazing place for breakfast. Eating here was like eating old, traditional recipes from your grandmother's house. The cookies are made fresh, the eggs are perfectly cooked. Bacon was perfectly crispy, Hash Browns were soft on the inside, crispy on the outside. The best sawmill I had. Belgian waffle was made perfectly, with butter and syrup. I will definitely get pancakes next time, they looked delicious. Price is about $8-10/person, so much food and worth the price. You may have to wait a little, so you expect it to be around an hour that sits down as they are busy and for very good reason. I would make a small suggestion to season steak for cookies, even a little salt and pepper. My husband got the steak biscuits and it was a little gland, but fine adding a little p. Overall a wonderful place for breakfast that has something for everyone. Whether you're here or visit, you don't want to miss this place.

If you like meat and three w/ Dessert style meals, this is your place. The chicken and dressing was just as my big grandmother did it earlier and the fried Okra was incredible!!! The service was great, the staff is really friendly, and they ensured that every need we could possibly have was met. The portions are so big that you don't starve. This will be our new Sunday tradition!!! Sorry about half eaten picture, I could not help when I saw that okra!!!

This place is so good!! Your food is great and the staff so friendly! The only reason I don't have 5 stars is because they close too much and too early a day. They would make so much more money if they were not closed after breakfast before 10 o'clock and remain open until at least 6 or 7 o'clock

We arrived just before 11:00 on Sunday. There have already been a number of patrons from the front door to the parking lot. The restaurant staff was ready. Enter, set yourself, menus on the table. Within minutes a server came to take our drinks orders. We were ready to order our meals. I asked for chickens fried steak, and it was put on the table before I expected. This C. F. Steak was the real deal, not taken out of the freezer and sat in the deep frit. That was my second visit. Consistently great house style Southern cooking! We love this restaurant! The food and service are fantastic! Best place to eat in the area if you’re looking for down home cooking. You know it’s a great restaurant when it’s just before opening time, and there’s 20 people outside standing in 93 degree weather awaiting the doors to open.
