The Abbey - Tuam

We were looking to grab some food and this place was just closing but Catriona insisted on looking after us and didn’t she do that- and more!!! Fabulous food, huge portion, beautifully cooked, gluten free options and such a warm welcome. Had to go back the following day for coffee and cake which again didn’t disappoint. This is what perfect hospitality is all about- hope we meet again- as those local lads would say!!

Great place to visit. After a long drive from Tipperary. Stopped off in Tuam and there was good ratings on Trip Advisor for here. Probably the best place we had the pleasure of eating in on our holiday. Highly recommend. The waitress was exceptional. So friendly, kind and chatty. Will be back next time when in the west for sure. My new stop off place

My first time in Tuam up to see the Kerry vs Galway match, was attracted to this bar situated right in the town centre. Very busy spot, we had a bit of a wait but we were told that was due to the large crowds in town. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, had a lovely lunch and appreciated the free teas and coffees offered to us by management. Will definitely be calling back here some time in the future!

The young girl serving us was lovely and friendly. The food was poor very small amount I thought it was a kids portion

Stopped off for a quick bite on my way through Tuam and was pleasantly surprised. Nice bright cafe with a central location. The young waitress that took my order was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the garlic chicken panini and my partner had the lasagne, food was great and portions were good. Nice atmosphere also and I was made feel safe as it is clear that staff and management carefully adhering to social distancing guidelines
