Yu's Garden - Trussville

Food was amazing!! My husband got Mongolian beef and I got the Mongolian chicken. I totally recommend this place. Even during pandemic times, you can still enjoy this food like we did at their parking lot. ??????

When we arrived, there was no one in the restaurant, there was an employee sweeping. She asked us if we had placed an order and we told her we?d like to dine in and from then on she had an attitude. It was the most awkwardly terrible service I?ve ever had. My husband and I each ordered a lunch meal and got a side of lo mein and fried rice. When she was taking the order she said, ?you want all of that for here? Or some of it to go?? I told her, we will eat what we can and take the rest with us. She put our order in and came back out to the table and said, ?are you sure you don?t want that to go?? My husband and I looked at her and said, ?we?d like to eat here.? The food was good, everything was fresh and came out hot, the service was just absolutely terrible. I?d rather eat at the Mexican restaurant next door, you get good food AND their service is amazing.

Small restaurant with great fresh high quality food. Can take a while to get your food but it?s because they cook to order. Huge amount of the meat in each dish, whether it?s shrimp, chicken, pork, etc. They gladly accommodate your requests (e.g. sauce on the side, more veggies less chicken, etc. Also, larger portions and friendly people.

I was reluctant to write a review over one bad order, but three is crossing the line. Never get the complete order right (where is my steamed rice foos!! , the fried main courses are always soggy and just weird. not exactly sure how this place has so many good reviews.
