Thai basil is definitely the best thai in birmingham. it tastes much fresher than West in downtown, and has more taste! the coconut soup is INCREDIBLE and I recommend D1 for all curry lovers. you thai tea is also delicious?

I'm always looking for a great Thai restaurant as I travel. Thai Basil took my place. Panang Chicken had great taste not too spicy as some Thai places can be. My vegan friend loved the tofu options.

Great quality food! My family and I always enjoy eating here. Recently they have had an issue with online ordering being slower than they imply via email. Their team addressed the issue and is working to make it better.

Ordering from here was a great decision. We wanted something new and different. So we went here after searching through multiple restaurants online. The menu was extensive and informative. They also have online ordering...The food was perfectly spiced. Get the Thai tea ! The vegetables were fresh and delicious. We were pleasantly surprised with the portions of the food. This is one of the best places I've eaten at, and especially in Alabama. Way better than other Thai cuisine places in the area. Plus the shop was quaint with nice decorations... a framed photo of a boat market loaded up with foods, spices, and vegetables on the wall. Will return one day, hopefully soon.

Wow, best pad Thai with pork and fresh tai basil spring rolls with delicious sauce. Perfectly seasoned Thai comfort food best, the Masaman with curry chicken and fabulous coconut soup! Great service with attentive staff and very friendly servers.
