Mex On Main - Trumbull

Great service and food I definitely recommend Mex on Main! A perfect location to. What are you afraid of give it a try.

Could there be a broader menu and more authentic atmosphere? Maybe but who cares. The food is good and fresh. The service is pretty quick and I've never had a bad experience there. Chili lime salad is out go to. It's worth it. If you live local it's worth your time. I wouldn't go out of your way from afar for it. But considering how close it is to where I live, we go there several times per month.

Going by the name alone I thought this place would be a little bit more than a Mexican fast food place...nothing fancy for sure and better suited for take out or a quick pitstop. You order at the counter and go back when they call out your number. We did eat in and the two burritos we ordered were pretty good even if they were a little on the small side...fillings were good though. Came with some standard chips and a small cup of salsa. We ordered one soda but for some reason this place did not have any cups or straws at all for us to share the drink...I would think that at least straws would be pretty standard to expect.

Always get orders wrong and get mad when you correct them. The owner is very nice but if you get anyone else at the register good luck. They have good food but it's not worth it. They do not respect their customers. I have given them many chances but am treated poorly every time. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Small little restaurant in a shopping plaza type of area plenty of parking. It is more like a fast food type of restaurant there are tables that you can sit and eat at but you order at the counter and wait for your food to come and then you sit down. We had a burrito bowl, taco salad and chicken burrito and churros. The taco salad was ok they use the same shredded lettuce for tacos as they do for salsa so the salad got quite mushy. The quac was very mushy too like it was squeezed out of a bag. We also order queso and chips I think this was the best part of the meal. Queso had a medium kick to it and was very nice and creamy and the chips were homemade. The burrito bowl was ok the chicken was good but the rice was super so dente. The chicken burrito was good but a bit small. Churros we're almost not edible as they were extra crispy and I feel they sat out a while maybe under a heat light. The staff was very nice and friendly They do take credit card and there is plenty of parking
