This place is awesome! A true gem. On the main strip in truckee, expereince home cooking vibes in a classy setting. Carlos Ian served me at the bar. The staff make this a fun atmosphere while still maintaining a upper level class of service. Everything on the menu is made in house you can tell. 10/10 reccomend. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Made reservations ahead of time, we were a party of six. Worst service ever!! Management could care less about your wait and hunger! We waited over an hour for our meal! After an hour when I went to go find the Maitre D/Host, he was eating his dinner at the bar! He could care less and told me that we should of been told that our food was going to come out late and that they only have 6 burners, so then do NOT have 2 large parties on the same night, that is why you require reservations!! Food was ok, but it was overshadowed by very poor service. They also make it that you can not call them and talk to the owner or email them to discuss their service. They must be experienced with plenty of complaints to not have an outlet for customers. I do NOT recommend this place. It broke my heart to see my daughter, who lives in Truckee and was excited to have us try this place and we had such a bad experience. It is not worth visiting you can find better places.

Had a really good dinner here last tonight. Recommend the Marsala and the Ravioli. Those were two stand out dishes. The caprese salad was also excellent. We were not a fan of the bruschetta. When we are back in town we would definitely come back. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Not giving the food 5-stars. Sorry! We have been there several times, each time five stars plus across-the-board. The last time we were there, the food wasn't quite as good as usual, but the biggest disappointment was the Caprese salad with their homemade pesto. The tomatoes were sliced less than a quarter of an inch thick with very little mozzarella. I remember the tomatoes being sliced, nice and thick for that dish in times past. One of our entrées was the Osso Buco, and that was skimpy and dry. In their defense, we were some of the last diners that evening. We certainly will go back the next time we're in Truckee. I should have mentioned to our fabulous server that we were disappointed with the Caprese salad and the Osso Buco, but I did not.

Mostly tourists. Ambiance is very dark and noisy, seating is tight, and prices are expensive. Food is mediocre. $4 for a plain bread basket. They don’t answer the phone because, according to their voice greeting, they “book up every night and can’t take earlier reservations”. Downstairs bar seemed lively. Feels like a restaurant that targets one-time visitors to Truckee. We tried this place twice and had the same disappointing experience. Food: 1
