Bidrage med feedbackThe vegan menu is really good, the other was quite ok: the paella is more a fusion of risotto and duvec rice; and the lobster was a little dry.
It was an awesome experience : We went for the Meny 4, tapas with fish and shellfish and dessert. It was great. It was our first experience with tapas, and when looking at the pictures on the internet, I was a bit worried that we wouldn 't get full, it looked tiny on the pictures. But we were 4 adults, and many courses, so we got bigger portions, and there was plenty, even quite some leftovers : I had looked very much forward to this, I did this because I just had a big birthday, I was very curious about trying out tapas, and this was just great : The staff was also helpful and explained the courses well : Some of them had English language problems (which is super common on Norway and we don 't speak proper Norwegian, but we managed in scandinavian , and our main waiter was so super nice, really good athmosphere in the place and from the staff. We did go in late October, maybe things are more rushed in high-season, but the place was full of people, so I think they 're simply always caretaking and professional : This is very very pricey. But Norway is expensive so I guess one just have to take it as it is. Thank you for the wonderful experience, all you professional and nice staff at Bakgården.
In the bad food. the paella, because the seafood was raw and tasty, plus the consistency and taste was excellent underwhelming. most dishes had a microwave. would not go back.
We went with our three-year-old bakgaarden bar og spiseri. good service. had menu 2 plus two Norwegian lobster tapas, especially liked wings. we are quite full of desserts.
Service quality low, waiter had long (more than 5min) maintenance with a table over private topics, while other guests waited for order. We...
