Bidrage med feedbackThe tapas are excellent. We had falafel, octopus balls, prawns, pork hock burrito, whitebait, meatballs, lotus roots, and scallops. The kitchen added mussels as a greeting. Everything was tasty and we enjoyed the dinner very much. The staff is very friendly and the venue welcoming. Best restaurant in trinity beach!
We went here on a recommendation from a local and were not disappointed. We visited twice. On the first night, we had the Tapas menu - which was outstanding and lots of it. The second visit we had the early week specials. This consisted of a 2-course meal for about $35 and including a free drink - so really value and if you turn up before 6.30 - its happy hour. We shared a very agreeable vegetable stack for our starter. I had the slow cooked (3 days) beef for the main (outstanding) and my wife had the duck filo pie - another great dish. We shared a pudding. I had 2 x Beers and 2 x Red wines and my wife had 1 x White and 1 x Red) and the whole bill came to $130 - which we thought was really good value. Recommended.
Love the feel in this bar/restaurant also liked the decor, not plush but it is comfortable. Indoor outdoor seating which was nice. Prices reasonable. Food very nice. There was some confusion in the kitchen with my dessert (took a long time) I questioned it when it didn't appear after 20 minutes, 10 more minutes it came, chocolate fudge cake (in a teacup) & a scoop of vanilla ice cream, to be honest it was delicious. When we went to pay on our way out (I'm presuming the owner) waived the price of dessert & coffee, so hats off to her, that showed good PR judgement. Other than that service was very good, staff friendly. I would visit again next time I'm in Cairns.
My wife and I came here twice whilst on holiday in Trinity Beach and the first thing I'll say is that the staff here work hard. The guys and girls are attentive and friendly, and constantly on the move. They have so many different options from their standard menu to tapas and nightly specials. The food the really good as well! Definitely getting value for your money. If you're in Trinity Beach give it a go on a Friday night when they have live music.
Right in hub of Trinity Beach, Lime tree just a delightful place to eat. Fine food and beverage (try the duck) with live music on a Friday arvo. Just perfect after a relaxing day on the beach or on the reef.
