Pizzeria Ander - Tremosine

During our stay we visited this place couple of times for dinner. Very nice pizza, pasta not so good. Probably the cheapest eating place around with decent quality. Choice of good house wines.

Owner is wonderful Italian old man, he told us a lot of stories about famous painter Gustav Klimt who lived next house to Pizzeria and who used to know his father back in 1913. Pizzeria is wonderful with numerous pizzas menu, high quality service, great prices, great beer, great fountain, lovely place for children!!!! I love Tremosine city and people!

We’ve visited Tremosine several times. During our stay at Terry’s appointment we had dinner at Ander every day. It’s small family restaurant. We have so great memories there. Every time we talk about holidays in Italy we think about Ander. They have the pizza ever This year we are coming back again.

The Pizzeria Ander offers a wide range of pizzas, including a vegan one, and some pasta dishes. The food was good as was the house red wine and the prices were very reasonable (E6 for a penne al ragu, E4 for a vegan pizza, E6 for a half litre of wine, etc). It is right in the centre of the village. Menus are in Italian, German and English. The interior looked more Germanic than typically Italian, perhaps going back to the pre 1918 days when Tremosine stood on the old Austrian (Hapsberg Empire) Italian border.

Pizza was very tasty and worth for money we paid. Aglio olio was very simple made pasta .. garlic was a little bit burned.House wine was average.
