La Forchetta - Tower Hamlets

I've been there before and was a bit disappointed with the food this time. The starters were very simple, unimaginative and a bit expensive, but the portions were good. The main courses were nice, good value for money, but the desserts were very expensive for what was on offer! Strawberry ice cream was very artificial and the tiramisu was made with *loads* of cream. For around £7-8/ each I would have expected much higher standards.

The restaurant was empty and also eggy! I had to lay my coat and scoop around me. the personal only stared, instead of looking useful. when they took our order, they just called the order to a boring looking waitress who looked a little lazy. eating was ok and the best of the experience. the decoration could be modernized. Maybe if quiet, only open the front upper part of the restaurant near the window to attract customers and please make the escaping area warmer!

Delicious eating but the premise let them down. I would not come back because it was irony in the restaurant and the toilets were not very nice. that is a shame, as eating was very tasty and good

An east end favorit. a good, unpredictable family-friendly Italian restaurant. I have many meals here in the run of the years with family and friends and I have enjoyed them all.

Our second visit. Staff are very welcoming, and service is good. Food is delicious. Atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable.
