Sol - Torrington

Wonderful place. Our waitress was incredibly helpful and let us make changes to dishes or drinks specialties. All beverage mixes by hand, no prefabricated sugar mixers. Many choices, both traditional dishes and American options. Off the beat and paths, a beautiful place with good music and great food. You also have food to go.

The food is consistently excellent, whether you choose to dine in or take it to go. We particularly enjoy the Rice and Beans, Chicken Chunks, and Turnovers—beef, chicken, cheese, and my personal favorite, Pernil pork shoulder. Everything is freshly prepared. The staff is always very friendly, and there is seating available for those who wish to eat on-site. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Sol Café is a delightful find in Torrington. The staff is friendly, the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is inviting. This is definitely my go-to spot.
