Bidrage med feedbackI am not sure whether Lee's is the most authentic Banh Mi you can get in SoCal, but it's accessible in several locations, reasonably priced, consistent, and quite good! At this location, there are several options for both Asian and Western style sandwiches, including breakfast. We typically get the number 11 (combination Vietnamese cold cuts , and number 5 (grilled pork . If you are sensitive to spice, ask for the jalapenos on the side, as they can vary greatly in intensity. The baguettes are baked fresh onsite, and you can even buy them plain for $2. The iced coffee is famous for a reason and worth a try. You can also buy the concentrate in-store (and in bulk at Costco! .
I love Lee's Sandwiches. Their prices are reasonable and their food and drinks are great. My favorite sandwich is the #4 BBQ chicken sandwich (Asian), although most of my friends love the banh mi. My favorite drink is the matcha green tea with boba, but their coffee is also great. This is also our go-to spot for catered sandwiches, both Asian style on baguettes and western croissants, as well as spring rolls and egg rolls.
During COVID-19 protocols, customers line up outside and enter one at a time to place their order. I ordered their pork sandwich. The cashier asked if I could wait 4 minutes for freshly baked baguette? Of course I said yes. How can you beat a sandwich made with a warm out of the oven French baguette? Then I saw on their menu that you can order just the baguette. Yes! So the photo shows just half the sandwich and half the baguette. . . because I already ate the other half. I’m impressed that a chain restaurant can deliver such tasty foods. I will be back.
Wow. I wouldn't recommend this place. That's the one I saw most. The tables and chairs look as if they were cleaned once a day or less you store what looks like boxes that belong in the garbage in the dining area One of the workers made a mistake and the owner began to defeat them before the customer and to blame them for always failing. She didn't make a mistake. She forgot that she had put food for a customer under the heat lamp so that it could not get cold. He didn't stop hitting them both of our sandwiches were probably the worst sandwiches from any Lee's in the world. Missing ingredients, all ingredients to a side of the sandwich. You wouldn't believe the onion if I gave it in. When we came in, there was a high school child who tried to impress his male friends with his shirt 'Pacock'. When we waited after 20 minutes and the only job was in work, the owner continued to talk and harass the worker. Please stay away from this place.
I came to this facility hoping to bring me a great sandwich, but I wait there to be recognized and get my order? but then nothing happened. It was like I wasn't even there! What made it even worse is that the phone ranks and the girl answered there and took an order. Maybe I'm just invisible. Don't come back for this kind of customer service.
