Bidrage med feedbackLast year, we had the opportunity to dine at Sala Modern Thai Kitchen multiple times. The food is always delicious and the service is excellent. Tonight, we celebrated my son's 15th birthday dinner at Sala, per his request. As expected, we enjoyed a fantastic meal, and at the end, the staff surprised my son with a birthday song and complimentary desserts. The owner even came out to wish him well and thank us for choosing Sala. A nice touch was when red roses were presented to the ladies. Thank you, Sala! We highly recommend it to anyone from my family!

The best Thai restaurant on the Danforth for vegans and vegetarians! The recently updated menu clearly specifies which dishes are vegan or vegetarian-friendly, and which can be made vegetarian/vegan. We have visited Sala a few times since it opened last year and have never been disappointed. The food is fresh, flavorful, and creatively prepared, with generous portions. The squash fritters are a must-try, as well as the coconut ice cream and homemade coconut ice cream with roasted sesame, mango, and other high-quality ingredients. Additionally, the staff is friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The cozy atmosphere makes for a wonderful dining experience.
One of the best Thai places for authentic Thai cuisine. the place can be quite busy for dinner. the owner is wonderful, sweet and connected to each table. she made our experience so much special. they can really be the love and attention they have in carrying out a successful restaurant, as it shows in the aromen and presentation of the food. curry pad thai is a must! I told everyone I know about this place and can't wait to try the other dishes.
When my man made an expat stint in china, one of his favorite restaurants was a Thai couple, which in turn made the “best pad Thai”. he remembered the thin omelette that encapsulated the nudes, a court he never found in toronto until he saw a picture of sala modern thai – really the only catalyst for our visit. when breaking through they are greeted with a pad thai from chewing vermicelli noodles (in contrast to the typical thin rice noodles) and a sweet and acidic sauce that had one of the best I had heard – it is not overwhelming sweet or sour and there is no tell-tale hauch of red indicating ketchup was used instead of tamarinden. fresh rolls are produced according to their name, as the rice paper is soft, chewing and slightly heated. with a simple sweet and tofu stuff, they get the contrasting textures of crispy and soft ingredients, with the thai basilikum a refreshing essence. on the side, a sweet chili
