Bidrage med feedbackIncluding tip, I paid $27 for a burrito. It was better than I expected because it turned out to be a wet burrito and it tasted great. But the price is WAY too high for what you’re getting. If the price was lower, I would’ve given it a 5 star.
We had to ask three separate times for them to bring the rest of the sides to my plate. The corn used to be very good, but I don't know what happened to it, the flavour wasn't the same anymore. All the attendants seemed to not want to serve us well and seemed confused to what was on the menu and on each individual place all the time. They also made changes to the tables and now they're slightly less comfortable. The price wasn't always great but now, since the food quality went down a bit it seems it's even less worth paying for.
Great food, however, the experience was a bit too authentic for my liking. From the hallway that resembles a janitor closet when you first walk into the restaurant (complete with a mop) to the smell of cigarette smoke while dining. Too bad as the fish tacos (fried) were some of the best I've had in Toronto.Kid-friendliness: Maybe it was a one time thing, but we did not appreciate the smell of cigarettes while dining inside the restaurant (nor having to walk through all the food delivery people vaping while loitering outside)
The modern but authentic Mexican vibe along with excellent service, and most importantly, the fresh flavours of all their homemade recipes makes this restaurant an easy 5/5. Everything was excellent!
Very meh and overpriced! Out of a few things, ingredients used were different than what was on the menu, tacos were small for the price, and a few other issues with service. Not as good as the other locations. Way better Mexican food in the city (2 better Mexican places within a 5 minute walk)
