Bidrage med feedback2023: Nice people who make comfort food.Good coffee. The benches are comfortable and well lit.Oct/2016: Well greeted and promptly seated.Bacon eggs with coffee (free refill) and a large fresh orange juice. 4 thick pieces of bacon, 3 eggs, real roasted potatoes and thick cut toast with fruit all for $6.99...your wallet will thank you.Took a salmon with capers cream cheese to go for $8.99 and it was delicious. For a decadent full flavour meal try the Eggs Benedict Meatloaf with bacon. I kid you not. I had mine with mashed potatoes which were done to perfection. It'll warm your senses on a cold day.A small but respectable bar with quality choices along with available beer will round off your meal quite nicely. No WIFI.Vegetarian options: Macedonian omelette is awesome.
My favorite diner in Toronto. Fair price, delicious food, excellent service and a helpfull staff. Come back!
Good food. Cute decor. Took a little long to bring the order. A few flies inside.
This place has become a regular place to eat for my friends and I. The concept of eating on a train is already cool enough. But with the addition of friendly staff and good, reasonably priced food, it’s no wonder that my friends and I always go back. Shoutouts to John and Rachel for making each time we go there awesome and welcoming! :D
Went here for brunch during an overnight stay in Toronto and have nothing but positive things to say about the food for the price! I ordered the eggs Benedict, but also tried a good portion the pancakes as ordered by my best friend who was with me. No pure maple syrup unfortunately (but honestly to be expected for a small breakfast joint in this economy). The portions are massive here for the price! The size of the plates they set before you could effortlessly derail an actual speeding steam train. We arrived starved but still could barely finish the offerings. Phenomenal. The booths were also very cozy. As a train fanatic, I think there's definitely room to lean even more heavily into the rail theme, but this is a useless nitpick and I digress. We'll be back!Parking: Parallel parking is available across the street. I forget the price offhand as of the time of writing, but it did not break the bank.
