Cafe Scorpio - Toledo

It’s clear, where all the money went in this restaurant. If you’re coming for a cinematic experience, you are at the right place, thanks to Four TV screens securing your entertainment because it WILL be needed. I have spent more time waiting for a bill than actually eating and when i tryed to ask for bill I was ignored. When I tryed to spend some time on the toilet i couldn’t even do That because sitting on their toilet is only at your own risk. The only positive thing I can highlight is a good price for a turistic place such as Toledo and acceptable food.

During our 4 nights in an apartment in the old Jewish area – just metres from Scorpio Restaurant – we called in for lunch one day enjoyed it so much we had churros chocolate from breakfast on another. We tried to return on our last evening for dinner – only to find it (like most places in the area) closed in the evenings. I’m saddened surprised that several have found this place disappointing. We loved it: in fact the best of a number of restaurants in Toledo. The situation is excellent. If the weather is nice you can sit outside. Inside it has a real ‘pub’ feel. The staff were extremely friendly courteous all seem to speak reasonable English. The food arrived quite quickly was excellent. I had a great (minute) steak chips for about 10 euros our breakfast churros chocolate (3 euros) – though not the best ever were considerably better than those tried elsewhere in Toledo. It’s not ‘posh’ certainly not touristy. It’s more the sort of place workmen call in for coffee, leaving their vans outside, office workers on their way round: but a genuine local place well recommended.

A picturesque place right next to the monastery of San Juan de los Reyes. The location is comfortable with outdoor and indoor tables. Normal pricing for a tourist destination like Toledo. Quite good food, terrace overlooking the monastery and excellent treatment of the staff. Good place to eat.

¡Qué lugar más rico, por favor! y si te gusta, tiras un pedazo en la piscina. Lo encontramos por casualidad caminando, el camarero juan un encanto y le doy al gerente más de lo mismo. 10 cuidado, 10. El menú del buen día. Fue la primera vez que probé las carcamoas, riquiiiiisimas realmente lo recomiendo 100% lo mejor también, su pastelero y hurón de chocolate blanco. Volveré a arreglar.

Muy buena comida, terraza con vistas al monasterio de reyes y el tratamiento de exquisito personal. buen lugar para comer con menú a muy buen precio. recomendado.
