Seafood Haven - Tobyhanna

Food was excellent. Catfish po’boy was great mostly fish and light breading, buttery taste. The person who I’m guessing was the owner called to let me know some of the items I ordered were out, and he offered replacement items that cost more at no additional cost. Carrot cake, steamed shrimp, all great. The in person customer service was ghastly. I was not greeted when I walked in, just looked at. I said my name and I was picking up, and was told “it’s not ready yet”. I said okay, do you know how long? The woman said, “20, 15, 10 minutes”. I asked if I could wait there, and got no response, just a stare. So I left and came back. Upon reentering, there was a bag on the counter. The same lady, not greeting me again, just pointed to the bag. No words. I said thank you, and no response. The food here speaks for itself. I would suggest employee training on customer interaction.

The food is tasty. However, the young lady has NO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS AT ALL! I called back to tell her she forgot to put my soda in the bag and she just said ok thank you and hung up. If I see her behind the counter on the next visit I will turn around and leave. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

Food is amazing. Always fresh. Polite and amazing service. Never had to wait long no matter how busy. Would recommend to anyone in the area to try out Seafood Haven !! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
