Bidrage med feedbackWe had a fabulous time at O’Neills, one that I will never forget. We started with a great meal and my father was able to have a reunion with his brothers who has not seen since he left Tipperary when he was 4 years old. It was absolutely fabulous and I would like to thank O’Neills for their excellent setting for this reunion. On top of that it was great service, delicious food, and wonderfully chilled pints (we had a few while there... we would recommend a stop in if you find yourself in Tipperary.
My husband and I were lucky to get a table during the bank holiday! It was very busy and many of the tables had been reserved. I had a turkey and ham dinner with plenty of mashed potato’s gravy and cabbage. It was like having Thanksgiving dinner! My husband had the homemade lasagna with salad and fries. He loved it! The portions are big so we could not eat dessert! Delicious home style food!
Have been going here for lunch once or twice a week, The standard of food is still good and reasonably priced and half portions can also be had for most main courses. They only do evening meals during the tourist season. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bar is clean and tidy.
My friends and I decided to dine at this restaurant and I must say, we were not disappointed. The food was served hot and was incredibly delicious. I ordered the lamb shank and it was the best I've ever had - I finished every last bite. The friendly blonde woman behind the bar made us feel right at home, laughing with us and ensuring we had a great time. Despite the unassuming exterior, this restaurant is a hidden gem that we will definitely visit again when we're in Tipp Town. Don't judge a book by its cover - the inside is absolutely charming.
Don’t be put off by the exterior.... you might drive past without giving a second glance. But once inside you will be glad you stopped. Great menu two courses for 27 Euro). This is high end food at very reasonable prices. Scallops with pork belly , cured salmon, chicken liver, all gorgeous. For main course we had hake, pork belly slow cooked 10 hours) risotto, salmon. Again all beautifully presented, perfectly cooked. We were celebrating a birthday and staff sang happy birthday for Cian and a birthday candle in a complementary pudding. Reasonably priced wine. Great deserts. Everything was perfect. I nearly forgot we got beautiful brown bread when we arrived. Don’t miss out if you are in the area. Great.
