Las Tortugas Thornton Mexican Sandwiches

Came in my midday, quite quiet on a Friday afternoon. everything is fresh to order what I love. the Bolillo roll they were used for the sandwich was just really grilled, not over. very bad as they can see. the personal is also very friendly. the first time in this restaurant. Unfortunately there is no child menu, so these sandwiches are big enough to share with the children's cans. I personally couldn't eat a whole thing.

Waited over 45 min for one sandwich. Cold and mushy by the time I got my order. Worst torta I've ever had

So they didnt have alot of choices, the sandwiches that looked good werent available, I ordered and then proceeded to wait an hour for my 1 sandwich as I watched the slowest line process I've ever seen in a restaurant. All sandwiches would sit and get cold before they were wrapped and then unwrapped to check what was what, finally I got my sandwich and it was cold and not even what I ordered. Terrible experience all around, oh yeah and I got a papaya milkshake...watered down with no flavor...

I’ve gone to Las Tortugas plenty of times but lately it’s gone downhill. The quality isn’t that great anymore. I order a Guera torta but the bread was hard and the chicken was over cooked. Even the amount of ingredients was smaller than usual. This place is not worth $11+ for a torta.

Food is amazing, but the food service is terrible. How are you going to call me to confirm my order and proceed to cancel it while my door dash driver is waiting outside to pick up my order? Trash service on the restaurants end.
