Love this sweet shop cant wait for the next visit they sell amazing sweets and chocolate in here and the range of stuff they have is great run bu superb staff two that are very helpful.

There were loads of tempting sweets available but as it was a hot day we bought ice creams and were pleased to receive a Friday discount. The shop assistant was very friendly and helpful. We plan to come back and choose some nostalgic sweets.

We visited here as a family to buy some sweets and presents for X Mas.We were amazed at the wide selection of chocolate, fudge, Pic n Mix, sweets and bespoke gifts on offer. This shop has everything to offer from Retro sweet collection boxes, to hand made Belgian chocolates, jars of goodies and bespoke party bags. The staff are very friendly, helpful and give the best welcome in any shop in Penarth.! Thank you for the ultimate X Mas chocolate experience! We will be back !!

Located in a charming arcade in Penarth, Umpa Lumpa is a delightful sweet and chocolate shop that radiates warmth and color both inside and out. There is truly no other place like it. I had the pleasure of chatting with Karen, the owner, and Mel, who, along with their colleagues, are incredibly friendly. They even let you sample sweets before making a purchase. I often buy treats not only for myself but also for my coworkers, each with their own favorite sweets. The personalized bags of sweets I leave with make for thoughtful gifts. Last Christmas, I purchased exquisite handcrafted Belgian chocolates that were beautifully packaged, as well as stocking fillers and chocolate bars featuring images of Penarth. I also couldn't resist buying large novelty chocolate tools, such as a spanner and hammer, that were so realistic in appearance. I rarely use Trip Advisor, but Umpa Lumpa's excellence deserves to be promoted. Bringing your children to Umpa Lumpa will have them begging to return - not that you'll need much convincing!

Good for high end chocolate, novelty chocolate, old fashioned sweets and anything else for you to enjoy or buy as a gift. The staff are nice too.
