Zina Tia - The Rocks

Perhaps the most bizarre experience I have ever had in a restaurant. I tried to order a seafood risotto from the specials menu, only for the waiter to tell me that it had a very strong flavour, I wasn't experienced enough to have it and I should order something else. No, I am not making this up. I was a bit taken aback as you can imagine so ordered a different risotto which turned out to be a tasteless plate of rice and beans. The people I was with who were allowed to have what they ordered said it was OK, but I have never encountered this attitude from a waiter before. He then had the cheek to ask if I had enjoyed my meal! What a strange man. By far the worst eating experience I had in Sydney (or probably anywhere), And it wasn't cheap.

Agree with some of the other reviews in that the pizza was quite nice and well cooked but the service was a bit slow. The waiter did apologise and gave us a free drink each! Regarding cost I would say as cheap as anywhere else we have been, but all eateries seem expensive in Sydney!

Wish we had read the reviews before we ate there. Very very accurate ! Pizza was lovely : Side salad came late : House red wine great value : Gas heater wouldn’t work : We were also asked to ‘tip the boys’. Why ?? ....

Run of the mill pizza joint. Nothing special or memorable with staff who appear to be going through the motions.

I often think the busier then it must be a good one. The food is really nice but very salty. We got my 6yr old a peperoni but the salami was very spicey for him We had the gnocchi al gorgonzola which is really nice and creamy and the mexican which again was nice. Yes the waiters are relaxed but its a nice oldy worldy environment
