Barnaby's Cafe

Barnabys is the epitome of consistency! The menu has remained largely the same except for the insane increase price on the quesadilla of all things lol. I still love this place but you gotta at least explain why you upped the price on the quesadilla like 10 whole dollars?? It went from 7 to 17 in a few years!

They took away the carnitas torta and I was devastated. That was hands down one of my favorite tortas in Houston. People were always surprised my favorite torta wasn't at a Mexican place. With that said, the food is still delicious, the servers are great and the atmosphere was exactly what I wanted on a rainy Sunday night. The Luna lasagna is great and they make a solid bison burger. If you're a lemonade person, it's also great.

Everything about this place is fitting for me. The staff are by far my favorite and so welcoming, inclusive and loving the moment you walk in. Every time I ask for a recommendation, I get more than what I expected (sooo yummy). I’ve had the chicken Cesar salad, turkey burger, mushroom burger and carrot cake. I recommend ALL of them. I am turning into a favorite when my budget allows eating out.

Barnaby's is a classic, loves this location but wish they would bring Breakfast back!
