Bidrage med feedbackI arrived at the restaurant at 5:30 when they opened and ordered the satay beef skewer, satay chicken, beef with black bean sauce, and a large special fried rice. I wanted garlic prawns, but unfortunately, they were out of stock. The food didn't take long to prepare, so I enjoyed a beer outside while waiting. I took the food as a takeaway, and the portion was sufficient for my dinner, breakfast, and another meal. The total cost, including the beer, was $68.00, which I thought was a good value.
After surviving on pub food and packaged chips, it was refreshing to have a spicy dinner. I was very impressed with the food at this restaurant. I would definitely come back to eat here again. It was easy to find as well.
I was surprised to discover a Chinese restaurant in the heart of the Australian outback, and the food was surprisingly delicious. If you find yourself in Tennant Creek, be sure to give it a try.
We had dinner here on a Wednesday night and we had fried dumplings, special fried rice, sweet and sour battered pork, sichuan combination and 2 beers. The cost $69. The food was delivered to the table in good time and was really tasty. The only criticism would be that the king prawns in the combination turned out to be shrimps. The size of the serves were more than we could eat and took a full serve back to our room. It was a really good meal.
Landed in Tennant Creek on the way to somewhere else looking for vegetarian/fish only options. Thank goodness for this find. Sweet and sour fish in batter and salt and pepper calamari with vegetarian fried rice. All just perfect. Don't ask me about the wine list. Luckily I had something half reasonable in the esky in the car.
