Grilia - Tehuacán

Delicious food and excellent service. The foccacias and pizzas are really tastly, and the oven cooked potatoes with poblano rajas were delicious. Great place to eat on the way to Oaxaca.

I went to Grilia in August when I was visiting Tehuacán in with my family. We shared a variety of dishes including pizza rústica, pizza 4 estaciones, pasta chipo, and helado de vainilla con piña al tequila. We all loved everything, even our two year old couldn’t get enough! I couldn’t believe she wanted to eat more and more of the pizza rústica (goat cheese and figs ! When you go, I highly recommend that you order various dishes to share because I guarantee you will want to try everything : Another pleasant surprise was that they had a children’s play area with toys and a little slide. Grilia is one of the few restaurants that would be perfect for either a romantic date or a dinner with toddlers. I highly recommend it!

We discovered this place and wished we had found it sooner! The Italian food is excellent like nothing else in Tehuacan!!! I had the Lasagna (incredible sauce) and my husband had the Italiana Bowl (unique flavor).We also enjoyed the garlic bread to start and the BEST warm chocolate brownie for dessert topped with ice cream! Add a bottle of wine to the above and life couldn't be any better! The owners and their staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable! The atmosphere is very quaint, you really feel at home here. If there was a 10 star rating I would definitely give it 10 We are looking forward to our next visit to have one of their awesome wood burning oven pizzas. Great food, great atmosphere, great staff EXCELLENT RESTAURANT!!!!
