Bidrage med feedbackMy dining experience was fantastic. Our server, Sabrina, was incredibly charming and attentive, catering to our every need. The food was exceptional - the best Italian cuisine I've had in quite some time. Parking was convenient with plenty of spots within walking distance.
The Italian food at this restaurant is delicious and the atmosphere is lovely, however, some of the items listed on the online menu were not available or no longer served.
I only tried the pasta dish during my visit, but I have a strong feeling that the pappardelle pasta was made in house due to its perfect texture and shape. The high-quality shrimp and crayfish tail complemented the dish well, with the shrimp providing a satisfying snap with each bite. The delicious sauce tied everything together, striking a perfect balance between comforting home-cooked flavors and refined culinary expertise. I will definitely be returning to La Scala in the future.
Wow, what happened to this place? When we last visited in Nov 2022, we thought it was one of the best Italian meals we had ever had. The Caesar salad was amazing, the service was great, the main courses were incredible.Tonight, we came back and have never been so surprised and disappointed with how things have changed. The bread was incredibly salty and rock hard. Tasted like it came out of a box. The Caesar salad was terrible. The dressing was thin as water and had about the same amount of flavor. And somehow it was served with bacon...? Very poor choice. The prosciutto flatbread was simply not good. The sauce tasted like it came out of a jar.In the 25 minutes we then waited for our food, we realized that all the plates and glasses were from IKEA.Then the main courses came out and they were just as disappointing. The Coq au Vin either had no chicken in it at all, or it was completely overpowered by what seemed like canned beef stew. It was also served without a spoon, so we had to try eating it with a fork. It was inedible with how salty it was. The New York Strip was just as bad. I've had better steaks at outback, and they didn't cost $35. Everything on the plate was so salty as of to mask the bland flavor. Also, the steak was pre sliced, but was served without a steak knife and the pieces were too big to eat without cutting. The service was sub-par as well, especially for a $95 meal. We won't be back, and that's such a disappointment since our first visit was excellent. There must have been a change of management because everything seemed like they were simply cutting corners.
So this is first time here with new owners and it is a terrible experience the lady with the brown long hair with bangs is so rude I just watched her scrape our salads into a couple of Togo boxes for a different patron then she used the same bowls she had scraped our original salads out of and put the new ones in you can see all the scrape marks on the side... I can tell she doesn't want us here and it's gutting to be treated this way after a 10 hour work day for me and my partner. I will never return, chicken risotto is great.
