Bidrage med feedbackAfter getting frustrated by the divertions because of the paris to nice cycle race we remembered that we had eaten at Les Arbousiers several years ago. We arrived very late to eat and Imthink they had finished service however they were nit put out at all and treated perfectly. We were not disappointed. We sat in the sun overlooking the lake. Faboulous views. Delightfully charming lady served us. Imthink another lady was cooking. We had veal chop deliciously rosie with salad and perfectly cooked french fries. Together with a glass of red wine it hit the spot!! Thank you very much. We will be coming back tomorrow on our way to nice airport!! I think we are going to be regulars.
Number #57 tourist trap !! Fantastic location for a seedy, dirty feeling establishment heated by a toxic wood burning stove...stinks ! Don 't be fooled by pleasant welcome. The cold food was sent back and came bag steaming from the microwave. The two bits of duck dishes were then rendered inedible as the meat had solidified. My Auntie, who is 99 years old, described it as the worst meal she had ever experienced !! Disgraceful. ..
€15 for a main course overlooking the lake served by pleasant waiters. No Michelin starred restaurant but then it doesn't claim to be. Simple, straightforward food in a convivial setting right on the edge of the lake.
Surprisingly good food, not a vast choice but good quality. House wine is fine, olives with cumin delicious. Friédly service and a great place to eat outside in the evening, or at lunch time if you want to swim or pedalo
Booked for nine people at short notice earlier in the day. Staff very accommodating and had a nice table set out for us right on the terrace with beautiful view of the lake. Food was good quality and particularly the seafood. Service was prompt and the atmosphere was great on a lovely warm summer's evening, with another large local group close by. Very accommodating to 2 members of our party one with a sesame allergy and one vegetarian (not so usual in France for a vegetarian to be so well received ! a melon gazpacho (sounds unusual but tasted fantastic . Staff spoke good English. Very child friendly.
